Sweden Declares Sex a Sport, Will Host Europe’s First Sex Championship

Sweden has become the first country to recognize sex as a sport and is set to hold the first sex championship in Europe.

The nation is the first nation to register sex as a sport, according to the Times of India, and it already has the European Sex Championship – the first of its kind – scheduled to start on June 8 in Gothenburg.

The six-week-long competition will take place under the guidance of the Swedish Sex Federation and will reportedly feature activities under 16 categories including seduction, oral sex, penetration, endurance, body massages, foreplay, exploring erotic zones, and more.

About 20 participants (athletes?) from different countries will engage in a sexual encounter every day for 45 minutes to up to one hour.

Factors including a couple’s chemistry, their degree of endurance and their understanding of sex determines who wins.

A panel of three judges will pick a winner, while the audience will also influence the decision, according to the outlet.

The Kama Sutra, an ancient Sanskrit text popularly known as a book on eroticism, will also be taken into consideration by the judges.

The participants will receive points based on their understanding of the ancient writings.
