Presidents of Mongolia and France Hold Talks

President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa is paying a state visit to France at the invitation of President of France Emmanuel Macron on October 10-14, Montsame reported.

Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and Emmanuel Macron held talks in the Élysée Palace.

The parties emphasized that the first mutual visits at the level of the head of state aim to achieve the common goals of strengthening the special partnership between the two countries, expanding cooperation in all sectors, and bringing it to a strategic level.

The heads of state affirmed their commitment to realizing the objectives reflected in the joint declaration of Mongolia and France issued during the state visit of the President of France Emmanuel Macron to Mongolia this May.

In particluar, the implementation of major strategic projects and programs, increasing investment and deepening cooperation in the sectors of economy, energy, communications, disaster management, agriculture, culture and education were discussed.

The Presidents emphasized the significance of each country’s contribution to overcoming the challenges of climate change, desertification, and food shortages, and reaffirmed their intention in coordinating the initiatives and goals of the two countries.
