Mister Menuiserie, a French chain selling doors, windows, and joinery, has gone into administration and cannot fulfill orders or issue refunds. The company, with 150 stores across France, was placed under administration on November 12 and is seeking a buyer.
Customers are left in uncertainty, with many facing potential losses. In Balma and Portet, 40 customers are waiting for orders averaging €10,000, while one customer has had no updates on her €4,000 order placed in July.
She reported that the store was closed, and efforts to contact the company were unsuccessful. Despite the order being manufactured, the delivery service refused to proceed without payment assurances.
The company’s financial issues arose from the collapse of a deal with a major partner. The spokesperson confirmed they are working to refund customers or fulfill orders and are considering three offers from potential buyers.
In October, Mister Menuiserie announced a partnership with Les Mousquetaires, but the future of this deal is uncertain due to the company’s ongoing financial problems.
