Olympic fever is starting to crank up, a year ahead of Paris hosting the world’s biggest sporting event. The French capital is determined ensure everything will be set fair for the opening ceremony on July 26, 2024. Although authorities say they’re confident all the infrastructure will be ready for the Games, a number of challenges remain, particularly on the issue of security. While some promises regarding transport have already been broken, others, like being able to hold events in the Seine, are still on target.
