Temperatures to drop, bringing snow to France

This week, temperatures will drop across France, bringing snow to higher altitudes and some low-lying areas. A cold front from the British Isles will lead to wet, overcast, and blustery weather nationwide.

On Monday, November 18, thick clouds and showers will cover northern France, especially in Hauts-de-France, while Nice will experience highs of 18°C.

Tuesday will bring rain and gales, with winds of 30 to 80 km/h. The cold front will spread south, bringing showers across the country, and Perpignan will see highs of 18°C.

Wednesday will be colder with clearing skies, and snow is expected at higher altitudes. Winds will continue, but less intensely, with light snow possible in low-lying areas like Haute-Marne.

Thursday will bring rain and snow, especially at higher altitudes, with freezing temperatures in the evening. Biarritz will see highs of 16°C, and snow is possible in lower areas.

By Friday, the wet weather will ease, but the cold will intensify, with snow likely at higher altitudes. Nice and Ajaccio will have highs of 12°C.
